Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find answers to the most common DH140 questions.

1What vehicles can tow a DH140?
The DH140 can be fitted to ATVs, UTVs or smaller tractors with a Category 1 hitch. Due to the machine's weight and working width, we recommend a vehicle of at least 500cc and 4x4 for optimal stability and traction.
2What can DH140 be used for?
The DH140 is designed for efficient soil cultivation and can be used for renovating existing seedbeds or plantings, establishing new seedbeds for game cover, fauna, and flower strips, as well as general soil cultivation as required.
3Is the DH140 difficult to get started with?
No. The DH140 is designed for simple and fast preparation, so you can get to work with minimal setup. Adjustments are made easily, and the machine is built for stable operation in demanding terrain.
4Kan DH140 bruges i ujævnt terræn?
Yes. The DH140 is designed to work in uneven and demanding conditions with high stability and a robust build. Its significant weight and heavy-duty construction ensure a consistent result – even where lighter harrows might struggle.
5Can the working depth be adjusted?
Yes. The working depth can be adjusted steplessly, and with the integrated actuator, the height can be controlled directly from the ATV/UTV via the switch while driving. This provides maximum control and makes it easy to adapt the processing to soil type and task.
6What is the difference between cultivator tines and duckfoot shares?
The DH140 comes with both tines and duckfoots, allowing you to adapt the machine to the task. Tines are best for establishing the seedbed from the start – for example, after ploughing or when establishing new arable land, where the soil needs to be loosened and prepared for sowing. Duckfoots are ideal for cleaning the seedbed, where you want to keep the area as bare soil leading up to sowing and minimise weeds and regrowth. This provides maximum flexibility for both establishing and maintaining wild bird strips and insect strips.
7What maintenance does the DH140 require?
DH140 only requires a routine service and ongoing lubrication. Lubrication points are clearly marked with labels at the nipples, allowing for quick and correct greasing. To extend its lifespan, it is also recommended to clean the harrow after use, so that mud and soil do not build up. Regular checks of wear parts such as tines and goosefoots ensure stable operation over time.
