1Which vehicles can tow the Seeder 105?
The Seeder 105 can be mounted on ATVs, UTVs and Cat. 1 tractors.
We recommend a minimum of 20 hp, 4×4 and a curb weight of at least 350 kg for optimal stability and traction – especially when working on uneven terrain.
2What types of seeds can I sow with the machine?
The Seeder 105 is developed to handle practically all seed types – from small clover and herb seeds to larger seeds such as corn and fava beans. The adjustable dosage, sowing depth, and row spacing as required ensure precise sowing, regardless of seed type or mixture.
3Can the machine be used for both sowing and fertilising?
Yes. You can spread both seed and fertiliser in one single pass, which saves time and ensures even distribution.
4Can the sowing depth be adjusted?
Features. The machine has an adjustable working depth from 0-80 mm in a pre-tilled seedbed, allowing you to customise seeding to both seed type and soil conditions. For reseeding without soil preparation, we recommend a maximum seeding depth of 10 mm.
The depth is mechanically adjusted and ensures precise seed placement - whether working with small seeds close to the surface or larger seeds that require a deeper seeding depth.
5Can Seederen be used for reseeding existing grass fields?
Yes. The Seeder 105 is suitable for overseeding existing grasslands and natural areas.
The machine's disc coulters cut effectively through the existing vegetation and place the seeds directly into the soil. This means you can overseed without having to plough or re-establish the entire field.
Overseeding is an effective solution if you want to improve the density of a grassland, strengthen the quality of the plant population, or introduce new species – without taking the area completely out of production.
6Is it difficult to operate the machine?
No. Seeder 105 is user-friendly and does not require farming experience. It comes with an electric actuator for the raise/lower function, so you control everything from your vehicle.
7What should I be aware of during maintenance?
After use, you should clean the sandbox, check moving parts and lubricate relevant components. This will prolong its lifespan and ensure good results next time.
8How is the Seeder transported between areas?
The seeder is equipped with an electric actuator for transport function.
During transport, the actuator is activated, and the machine is raised so that the ground clearance is increased to approximately 200 mm. This protects the implement while driving and makes it easy to move between work areas.
When the machine is raised, it can also be easily driven onto a trailer, making transport between separate areas simple and practical.
This makes the Seeder 180 suitable for users who work across several smaller areas that are not directly connected to each other.
9How does the Seeder 105 differ from traditional seed drills?
The Seeder 105 has been developed as a flexible and multi-functional solution for smaller and more complex areas, where traditional agricultural seeders are often too large or impractical.
The machine distinguishes itself by:
- Being able to handle almost all types of seed – from small clover seeds to larger seeds like maize
- Allowing for simultaneous application of seed and fertiliser in one pass
- Being compatible with ATVs, UTVs, and Cat. 1 tractors
- Being easy and intuitive to operate – even without agricultural experience
- Being able to operate in areas where larger tractors and traditional seeders cannot reach
This makes the Seeder 105 particularly suitable for nature conservation, game fields, biodiversity strips, and smaller agricultural areas where flexibility and manoeuvrability are crucial.
10What is the difference between Seeder 105 and Seeder 180?
Seeder 105 and Seeder 180 are both designed for precise sowing with ATVs, UTVs and Cat. 1 tractors, but they cater to different needs.
Seeder 105 is the compact model and is suitable for smaller areas, narrow passages and users where manoeuvrability and a lower working width are essential.
Seeder 180 is designed for larger areas and higher capacity. The wider working width provides increased efficiency per pass and is particularly well-suited for establishing and maintaining larger game fields and natural areas.
Choose Seeder 105 for smaller and more confined areas.
Choose Seeder 180 if you prioritise capacity and efficiency on larger surfaces.
