6What is the difference between harrow tines and duckfoot shares?
The DH140 is supplied with both harrow tines and duckfoot shares, allowing you to adapt the machine to the task at hand. Harrow tines are best suited for establishing a seedbed from scratch – for example after ploughing or during new soil cultivation, where the soil needs to be loosened and prepared for sowing. Duckfoot shares are ideal for maintaining the seedbed, where the goal is to keep the area as bare soil leading up to sowing and to minimize weeds and regrowth. This provides maximum flexibility for both the establishment and maintenance of game crops and wildlife strips.
7What maintenance does the DH140 require?
The DH140 requires only routine inspection and regular lubrication. Grease points are clearly marked with visible labels at the nipples, making greasing quick and straightforward.
